NEWS: CET contracted to supply smart tokens to Guangzhou Subway
Order for over 3 million single journey smart tokens awarded to product innovator
CET continues to be the leading supplier of smart tokens in China. The innovative product was developed as a limited-use mass transit ticket for the Guangzhou subway in 2003. The project required a RFID solution for the single journey tickets issued to passengers without stored value cards.
The solution had to be able to withstand impact, pressure, chemicals, water and offer consistent performance repeatedly over several years. Our injection molded tokens have held up to the requirements and become a defacto standard.
